Dragon Fantasy Book II
Dragon Fantasy Book II (by Muteki corporation) is a classic role-playing game, a sequel to Dragon Fantasy Book I, with an original combat system and a cooperative mode for four people. It appeared on September, 9, 2013. You have to feel like a hero, able to stop the coming forces of evil.

Gameplay
Most likely, you've already got acquainted with Book I, consisting of three episodes, the main characters of which are different characters. In the game, you were waiting for random battles with more than 80 kinds of monsters, different weapons, magic and skills, as well as a lot of treasure dunks. Now join Ogden and the other heroes in the classic RPG. Together with them you have to go through the frozen wastelands, fight in numerous battles with the enemies, using different skills and abilities. Unlike the first part of the game, here you will not see random opponents. Its heroes go to different locations to fight with enemies. Review on ign.com.
Storyline
The story starts on the pirate island in South Pacific. The heroes have to travel to the south continent from there. They are searching for a void stone that’s prison for demons. They meet many problems on their way.
If Book I was divided into some chapters, Book II is just one huge storyline: all the chapters are mashed together in one story.
As Book I, Book II can be played on VITA, and it has Super Nintendo style and presentation. It is the continuation of the 1st part of the game. It has simple visual and sound effects, but it contains many battle scenes. However, as the graphics is not realistic, these fights do not scare the gamer. Here the main hero, named Ogden, supported by his closest friends and followers has to come through hundreds of fights and thousands of obstacles to defeat Great Evil. The game resembles a cartoon sometimes, as the heroes chatter a lot, joke and support dialogues. In case you suppose you lose time reading all of this stuff, just skip it.

Fights and battles
When you take part in battles, you can use various skills. If you are wounded, you should be healed, otherwise you will die and the game will be over. As the fights and battles last very long (some of them take over 2-3 minutes), they can seem a bit dull. Experiences games players say that Book II does not have much action: it seems to them monotonous.
Here you do not have the upper limit on the number of your enemies in battles. When you fight with certain warriors, monsters can join this battle unexpectedly. Their number depends on the level — when you are passing high levels, you can be attacked by 7 monsters at a time! You should use your combat skills or magic. For instance, when enemies come in piles to kill you, you can hammer them.
The skills of the main hero are very important here: using them you can destroy more enemies. That is why it is better to learn how to get these skills before you start the game. When you understand the main rules of the battles, the fights will become even fancy and amusing. You will start getting pleasure of capturing your enemies-monsters.
Dialogues and graphics
Like in Book I, here all the heroes talk and they exchange jokes constantly. Their conversation that can seem boring for experienced gamers, will help a newbie to play, especially if he never passed the first part of the game. Here all are talking even when they are fighting, and it might seem sometimes even very odd.
The game graphics is too simple even for RPG, but in comparison with Book I you can see some improvements. However, it is still a 16-bit version, so you should not wait for the coolest video effects. This is just the stuff to kill your time when you are standing in a traffic jam, for example or when you are waiting for somebody to come to you.

Pros and cons
Those players, who are not seeking for expensive and difficult 3D games, will enjoy Book II, which is very easy. The good thing here is that it is extremely difficult to be addicted to this game: just play it for fun and forget it until the day when you again decide to spend your time simply relaxing. The game can slow down a bit, and this problem irritates many games. Good, that it does not happen very often.
When you decide to play Dragon Fantasy Book II, you need not pass Book I, as everything here is so simple, that you understand the storyline in the very beginning of the game. Also we recommend to read article Top 5 Dragon Games.
